Ode To Lebanon

Lebanon no more smells of thyme & cedar,
Nor does it leave prophet Gibran’s
Soul wander in peace,
Scalp of a Nation driven insane,
Some say it is the work of Allah’s Imagination,
While others don’t speculate on this ominous
Myth of speculation
Where in the world can I pickle
My hope; I say
