Two Spring Flowers

Two Spring Flowers

Think of those two little spring flowers,
That fell from the tree, dancing in the little breeze,
Down into the blue lake below.
Moving down, with the current
Soon to be separated from each other,
In the ripples of the lake!
As they floated down, on the blue span
Of the lake,
Trying not to wet their pretty petals,
They soon forgot each other.
Time went with the tide.
Stars came out twinkling, from where they hid.
There came a little breeze, bringing to mind,
The days they had left far behind.
Together they had bloomed smiling at the world.
Together they had quarreled for a silly thing.
In some happy hour of their life,
They had promised to be friends, forever!
Poor little flower, now far away
Sad they forgot the promise they had made.
In their gloom they prayed, though in vain, to meet again!

Love

Love

There you were in the past
Now you are in the present
There you will be in the future
Even death bows to you,
The blessed one.

The sharpest, the sweetest,
The happiest and ever loved.
You make the immortal mortal
A dew drop from the heaven
To make life beautiful.

Sharper than any sword
Deeper than any ocean
Wider than the entire universe
More powerful than any emotion.

Everyone falls for you
But only a few rise in you
you are the one and only 'love'

Dark Clouds

Dark Clouds

I look up at you
Oh! Dark cloud.
For you seem so distant
And so far way
All alone, fluttering in the wind
And dancing to its tune
Spreading your noble wings
All over us

I envy you
Oh! Dark cloud
For there is a charm about you
In your existence...
When you spread far and wide
And hide mysteries from our eyes.

Your nobility adds to your beauty
When you travel far and wide
Cooling my mind and body
For you are an enigma
For me and for all!

A Plunge into the Ocean

A Plunge into the Ocean

The silver streaks of ecstasy,
The deepest plunge into the blue
The murmurmed lullaby of the silent green
Enchanting touch of the cold.
Rising up and moving down,
Floating in the emerald green
Dwelling deep in the colourful silence
Soft sponges play.
The shining crystals, slippery pearls
Swift schools pass by
With the beauty of a thunderbolt
Through the wrecked window.
The green curves intertwined
Nodding to the current above
Floating through the dungeon deep
The silver streaks glitter again.

Friendship-A Golden Relationship

Friendship-A Golden Relationship

She is some one who makes me laugh until I can't stop,
She is someone who holds my hand and says:
'Come what may,we are together ,we will face it.'
She is someone who supports me whenever I need it,
She is the fence that saves me always,
She is the happiness in my sorrows,
She is a friend in need to me,
She has always been a source of encouragement,
She is my best guide and above all in my life.
I feel proud of myself because of her.

My Love

My Love

I don't know who did love first
But i now know that
We love each other to the the best.
Those who saw us together said
This is passing fancy
And nothing top be serious about
But they were wrong
For sure I knew that
I was to pay for the hours spent
With him in pleasure hunt.
My poor records made my mother
Ask, Was I engaged to him?
I said 'No' and for help, held on.
Then a friend of mine said
The love he showed was vague,
For she had been his victim before.
But her words I scarcely did believe
Then once my teacher came
And asked, with whom was I in love
Angry at me she turned and warned
I shouldn't be found with my love again.
Tears dropping from my eyes I said
I will keep myself away from sleep.

The Rain

The Rain

You rule the world
By your power and majesty,
You are the manna from heaven,
Piercing the clouds; invading the earth.
You bathe the fields of farmers;
Become their daily bread.
You are the tears of joy from heaven.
You are the wine of lovers.
You are the beautiful rain!!

The Truth About Dreams

The Truth About Dreams

Dreams..... what are dreams? For many years I wondered what dreams are made of.After much thought and deliberation I have stumbled upon three answers to this question.First of all, I think it could be a total escape from reality and that problems reality brings with it.Second, I believe that dreams provide a time for contemplation of past mistakes and what would have been the outcome if a different choice had been made.It helps in turning over a new leaf in our lives.Third, I think dreams may contain the simple answers to difficult problems which the mind overlooked and disregarded as to find basic solutions when one is at sixes and sevens.

The day is stressful, and through the day one does not always have time to rest on one's oars.Dreams provide a way to relieve the stress. It does this by allowing to wear one's heart on one's sleeve without any sort of interruptions from outside.Perhaps,"Dreams may be the only way for one to live out one's dreams."

We all know that we make mistakes;we cannot help it,it is human.Dreams provide us with an opportunity to look back and analyze our past and also go the extra mile.Looking closely at a mistake and its consequences along with the choices one did not make and the conscience one did not have, provides us with a golden opportunity to not make the same mistake again.

Everyone needs answers to one's problems.Problems from where one will find the next meal to what sort of life is in the outer most part of the solar system. All day long the brain thinks of very complex answers to these highly complicated problems.Sometimes the simple answer is better than the complex ones, but if one is looking for the complex answer how can one find the simple one? While asleep one's brain cannot function on the same level as when one is awake. Therefore, when you are asleep and still looking for answer, you will not have any other than the simple answer to think about. This will show you the correct answer when you wake up the next morning.

There they are - my three most likely theories on what dreams are for.As you will read this paper you will probably have a feeling of Deva vu.More than likely you must have had at least one of these three things happen to you while you were asleep. This should show you not to disregard your dreams as nothing important.Dreams are very important in life. They can relieve unneeded stress as well as help analyze and solve life's most difficult problems. Moreover, a dream can make you feel like a millionaire and sometimes make you all thumbs.

A Day With Kid

A Day With Kid

The day she came
Was a wonderful day.
Her pleasant smile
Charming face, fascinating
Curiosity and her cute expressions
Made me think, that
She was innocence personified
The air around her,
Was always calm and kind.
She filled everyone with joy
By her little deeds.
She ran like a small rabbit
And danced spectacularly.
It was really enjoyable,
To fulfill her little desires.
She took me out of my boredom,
Though her never ending fantasies.
And finally she went away
Promising “I’ll come again”.

Life

Life

Life starts with a baby

Born into a busy world

With blessings of the creator

Cuddles in the arm of the mother

Opening the twinkling eyes

Beholding the beauty of nature

Growing up knowledge and wisdom

Enjoying the pleasures of the world

Second by second, day by day

Year by year passes by-

But man knows not

Of his short life on earth

Enjoys the world, knows not his

Creator

He knoweth not that the time has come

For him to leave abruptly.

His worldly belongings

And his treasures on earth,

He could not carry

On his journey to the other shore.

His life is a warning to the young

Generation

To stay faithful to the creator.

Reminiscence

Reminiscence

Walking down memory lane,
I can see all those happy moments we had together,
The jokes, the laughter
And the joy of being so closed...
The good times we've shared
And the hard times we've braved.

Of all the thoughful things you have done
And all the joy you have brought,
Of all the understanding words you have spoken
And the unconditional love you have given,

Thanks a zillion times for being
There for me always...

In memory of

In memory of

Her passion swept in the air,
A tempest blew inside her mind,
The rustling leaves flew violently,
She sat there with a deep felt grief…
Her soul soaked in that deepening wound,
Her heart thumped on a gentle move,
The strength in her body became suddenly weak,
Numb, due to those heart breaking words…
It cannot be purchased, she knew it well,
It cannot be purchased, she very well knew,
It is personal, she understood,
But… no! No words to speak…
She could have wept and cried,
But no tears came through her eyes,
She could have said it’s not true,
But her heart was full, words were few.
She knew it’s any layman’s experience,
But she never knew it would be hers
The sudden flash broke her down,
It was a lightning or thunder bolt…
The same words thundered in her mind,
Her sleep was disturbed or it seemed,
The dreams of day were shattered
And thus her hopes lay in vain.
She gazed and started at her image,
With unknown truths yet unanswered,
Survival is for the fittest-yes
Thus quietness prevails forever more.

An Undefined Treasure

An Undefined Treasure

Artists can’t draw the
Line of friendship
As it requires numerous
Paints and brushes.
Singers and speakers
Can’t describe the treasure
As it is a mixture
Of wordless words.
Every man needs to have
This treasure
At least the one, who teaches
To share love and sorrows.
A valuable treasure
Always needed
In every deed!
Says a proverb.
A treasure indeed
Filled with happiness
In war and peace
Spreads joy boundless.
A relation bonded forever
An eternal bond
A rare image of oneself
Such a one, is a friend.

Terrorists

                                     Terrorists

Disowned by their very own race
They have but a disfigured face.

To slay and rob, their deaf feet scurry,
Unto their very ends they do hurry

They stand for what, they do not know
Their camps and tents they do not show

They prod for men with bombs and guns
Prodding their hearts they've seldom done

What do they get? Where is the gain?
Excepting tear-flood, carcass, unhealing pain.

O Love!

O Love!

O love, you have
Lit a searing flame
That devours me slowly and
Leaves me unconsumed.

Ever longing for the
moments of encounter.
I enter now through a door
I knew was there

Where moments flit by
And breath suspended
All are called to this realm
But only few enter

O love divine, I have come
Drawn by the reins cast on me
By the blind lover,
for I see only mire and soot

And you the possibility
Lying dormant in me
Subdue me I lay passive
Longing every moment
for your touch.

A Suicide

A Suicide

Oh! Sun rises
Up on the tallest mountain
As a candle flame, behind
A black coloured blanket.

I looked round with eyes open
Glared at the large world
The endless gray coloured sand
They walked with large legs tall behind.

Vehicles with four legs
Nor can give any attention to me
I’m the only, not to be noticed
Poor being without any qualities.

Life is not but an ugly grave
Expiry smells in it.
Lot of experiences
Oh! Is it a grave……..?

I can’t bear the loneliness
I can’t live, I will die myself
The ant with many legs
Leaped into the red colored water.

Oh! It is not deep
I can’t die in it.
I can’t also go out from it.
Oh! God how can I die………?

I looked up, the white colored sky
All the others contribute a bad look on me
It is not easy to die
Yes it is not so easy....

The Lady Next Door

The Lady Next Door

The lady next door
Small and broken was her house
Torn were its walls
But all young and old
Liked the sight of it
For it shone brighter than the sun
Brightened by an unknown power.
Days have I spent pondering over her plight
Does she have proper sleep at night?
With her partner paralysed for life
And her son yet to grow up
Left was she in the lonely dark lane
To march along the highways of life,
Alone like a wounded soldier.
She found time to play with her kid
Feed him with love, tidy her house
And yes, to sweep the road, her job.
I would watch her out of my window
She seemed a boat in the ferocious sea
Her sweep was her oar,
She would twist and bend her way out.
I felt my life was a heavenly bliss
With only bright and sunny days.
When my eyes met hers,
I could feel the power in her eyes,
And in the depth of it
I could read clearly writ
It was commitment to her family.

The Rich Fat Woman

The Rich Fat Woman

A fat old woman said “Ah me!

My days are almost done,
With rheumatism bad on my knee.
And find I have no fun
Puddings burn upon my tongue
Bananas I can’t face
Guavas round my intestines
Gas bubbles seem to chase.”
So she loves to malinger
Slurping and burping forever
Clad in silken finery
And dressed in precious jewellery
She had no real worry
One day while digesting her curry,
On her door stood a beggar, so dirty
He said “Amma, I’m very hungry,
For two days I haven’t eaten”
“Be gone!Or I’ll have you beaten!”
It’s fun to have such people
On whom we love to giggle
But isn’t it a riddle
They have everything material
But of humanity-so little.

Intention

Intention

Life, a wide and deep concept
Me, one among thousands living it
Craving for all happiness
More are paths I walk less
Yet the journey has no end
For people say it never did
Aims and dreams are many
So I hasten my pace keenly
Now that I run so fast
It is hard to breathe vast
Then do I stop to think
Doubts holding me back
Deceived was I in life
To learn from the deep voice
That the purpose of life is to live.

Until My Last Breath

Until My Last Breath

The sun rises above the hillcrest,
As does the joy of my heart;
Rays of warmth and love,
From her, I will never depart.
Fresh dew upon the grass,
Young birds chirping in their nests;
I watch her beauty, beauty of my nature;
My love to her, I silently profess.
She brings me to stillness and peace,
Like that of a slow flowing stream.
My heart and soul flow with love,
And I smile as I quietly reflect;
I have been handed a sweet princes,
Sweet princes to love and to protect,
A wow to myself I make,
As she glows with her beauty,
Her greens, blues and sunny yellow;
To love and always cherish her,
Until my last,

Until my last breath………………!!!!!!!

Angel

Angel

An angel from heaven
With imaginary wings
A charming face
Like a rose in vase.

Eyes are bright
Hip long hair
Cheeks are red
Like a rose bud.

Sweet as a honey
Soft as silk
Cute like kitten
Truly, an angel from heaven!!!!!

A Reason To Cheer!

A Reason To Cheer!

Why am I alive?
Why am I here?
With not a reason to cheer
Oh! How can I smile?
When my mother land cries;
With no food to eat,
And no water to drink.
Oh! How can I celebrate?
When my mother land is in mourning,
For terrorist are its citizens,
And violent are its rules.
Oh! How can I be merry?
And eat a few cherry;
When my land is all worry;
And people, its dear ones burry.
Oh! How can I be goy?
When my land is in dismay
In the name of peace, we fight
And hopes its burden light.
The ‘rich’ octopus sucks its nectar,
And the ‘selfish’ giant drains its white.
Oh! How can I listen, to the voice,
So sweet of nature;
Or see Mother Nature in the glory enchanting.
For my native land is flowing,
With blood that’s red in glowing;
The wind that still is blowing,
Brings the grave echoing!!!
Still reason I have to cheer,
For I am still a being who can turn the steering
And make that big DIFFER!!!!!

A Tribute To Lost Things

A Tribute To Lost Things

Lost among the menhirs of my thoughts
In my bubbly class, I sit;
Aloof and plastic, my soul’s lamp unlit.
History’s battles wreak havoc;
Trying to engage my mind,
Smith an’ Marshall debate answers they can’t find.
In a lone corner Shakespeare sits and whines.
And social dynamics tries to leap off the text’s lines.
Meanwhile in me,
The commitment to learn smuggles into
The blanket of nonchalance.
Again, I recollect the humming of a ring tone,
The wave of a friend from across the bench
Torn between the mystery behind the ring
And the old familiar smile of my comrade,
I look away and fondle the phone,
And hushes it catering to its immediate need
A zephyr passes and I see
The commitment to friendship lies
Crumbled against my heart’s nook.
I caress the bus-ticket as I stand among my peers
And glare at a haggled damsel who stood on my toe
With disgust and contempt sheer!
The body odour of Arabian Sea’s queen
Into my senses do sting
I try to drown it with a breath freshener sort of thing
Its blue-green cover out of window I fling!
Along with it my commitment to
The society and nature rides out on a breeze’s wing.
At home, from boo-boo soaps and serials
My grand mom seeks
Sporadic intervals of telephonic charts
Pa and Ma comes with ‘packetized’ affections
Plunges into the news and the net
She, the commitment to love walks
Unseen and unlistened to; out of the door.
A knock on the door
And I get to see an unkempt beggar girl
‘The proliferation of beggary’ would make
A fancy title I ponder
While I nod my head and close the door
The last glimpse I catch of her
She planting a kiss on her little brother’s sores
At the nanosecond I gather myself and realize
‘The commitment to God’-that’s
What we first lost and never found!

For All Of Eternity

For All Of Eternity

I never knew what to expect of love
Never knew what to feel
Never understood what the hype was about
Never did understand the deal.
All around me people proposed
Their love for each other in many a way
I always turned my head away
Wanting them to find their own little space.

And just when I was least expecting
Love or anything vaguely close
You walked right in to my life
And made me love everything I used to oppose.
You and I are not meant to be
Or so I thought till you changed my mind
For all my life I was the ugly duckling,
With no lovely swan in me for anyone to find.
You turned my world upside down
But regrets I have few
Just promise me you not disappear
Like the early morning dew.
The dew drop that brings a smile
Upon all who wish to see
But as the sun gets ready to come out
It brings to flee.
Promise me, instead
That you will be mine forever
I hope the love we share for each other
Stays on forever and ever.
For I am going to love you all my life
For all of eternity
I don’t care what the world says
Don’t care for their tears or their pity.
The world may talk all it wants
But my love for you will not cease
Through happiness, through joy, through sadness
Through pain or even through disease.
So be mine forever my sweetheart
I’ll be everything you want one to be
Our love will stand true forever
For all eternity.

Cord of Soothing Love

Cord of Soothing Love

It starts there;
At the end of the cord
Where you have to cry,
As a reward- your sweet voice
Filling her eyes!
It starts then…
Open your eyes
To show her you can see
Look at her- her eyes are filled
Snuggle towards her,
Kick her with your soft legs!
Her eyes are filled.
Suck her life blood
Her breasts are for you
Her eyes are filled!
Smile when you are sleeping
She is watching;
Her eyes are filled.
When you sit, stand, walk, run talk
Her eyes are filled.
Go on; grow till you can shout at her
Her eyes are filled, filled with tears.
Shout at her, scold her, kick her,
Tears roll down her cheeks.
Send her to old age home
Pack her bags with soothing love.
Her eyes filled, filled with tears
Your eyes filled, tear of happiness
There ends my cord with her-
That special cord; you wish!
Then comes your chance,
Give her your blood, life
Feel the happiness,satisfaction.
Then comes the end
Filling your eyes with tears
Breaking your heart,
With that soothing love.

Shadows

Shadows

Morning! The soft hands of Sun
Touched the cherubic face of the baby
The hazel eyes opened
“Welcome to the new world”
The sun whispered.
And in the earth was the shadow,
Shadow of the baby in the hands of the mother.

Noon! The monarch of heaven ruled in glory,
Hard face of man,
Challenged the glaring rays,
He climbed up the mighty mountain
And fought with thunder,
And in the earth was the shadow invisible
Shadow of the man, strong and powerful.

Evening! Weariness crept over the rays of the sun,
The wrinkled face of man,
Looked into the emptiness before him
The hard toil was over,
The battles were won and lost,
And on the earth was the shadow,
Shadow of the man, weak and bent on the stick.

Soul Silence

Soul Silence

I dare not challenge him though I wish to
The golden ring hugs my finger tight
It’s to that piece of yellow glittering gold
That I have surrendered my mind, though myself.

He who bought me with his manhood
Whose desires I am destined to quench
The world calls it divine bondage

They call me lucky woman, indeed!
A testament of unwritten norms
Of many ‘don’ts’ and much more ‘do’s’
All set according to his pleasure

What am I to do with them?
Is it what you call commitment?
A thing to last for a lifetime?
I believe that this virtue of yours
Will make my grave, a slave’s adobe!

Twilight

Twilight

The day fader
And the light dims
The sun has set-
In the western horizon on
But still there is-
A light coming,
Coming from somewhere
Maybe from Now here !!
Oh ! A heavenly halo
Is seen, spreading…
The twilight brings with it
The cool chilling breeze
From above, up above…
It fills my soul
With fragrance of
The flowers, Enchanting
Ah! My heart is filled with joy…
My soul is bound to it
Aee! The glory spreads to infinity…
Like the rays of the sun.

Similar suppliers of bluish radiance…
Ho! How I wish, that time would stand still!!
For, I haven’t got the time,
To cast a sidelong glance,
On to marvel at it.
I pray to the O’ Mighty Lord
To command the time still
Let me quench my thirst,
And drink the chaliceOf everlasting Mystic Beauty,
To my hearts content !!!

Hope – 4 the best

Hope – 4 the best

It is the mother of all success

It is an Angel of God

It is the Brightest Star of our future

It is the Nearest relative of success

It is a Magic potion to prevent depression

It is a Powerful Weapon against temptation

It is the Echo of our Soul.

Deeds

Deeds

Don’t feel alone
Your deeds are your theme
If on wrong path they fall
They can open the way to hell
Every deed is a monument
They change every moment
Every deed should be right
They are like a running dove
Catch them and love
Every deed makes your fate
The prison of fear is what they break
They are like a great hill
Conquered by a Goodman’s will
On good and bad they feed
They are deeds, they are deeds.

Science – an anxiety

Science – an anxiety

Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemistry,

A great mystery

It is full of “equations"

- Tough to find the solutions.

Physics, Physics, Physics,

It is full of mathematics

Always bring tension,

And a lot of confusion.

Biology, Biology, Biology,

Grows out of psychology

Study of creatures,

Improve our future.

Oh! My God!

These sciences are an anxiety,

Which are highly mighty!

Cry for the forest

Cry for the Forest

Rustle of trees, as the wind blows;
deep into a thicket, the ivy grows.
Through the leaves, rays of sun peep;
over the ripples of the water deep;
As drops of dew in sun glisten;
to the round of nature you listen.
A moan arises from the twigs dry;
A faint echo of hue and cry.
Try to catch! it tells a story;
of the forgotten, lost green glory.
Cut a tree. Oh! A man is brave.
Unknown he digs his own grave.
Why? It’s for our basic need
But think! Isn’t it hunger and greed?
Destroy a forest, the world is demolished;
‘Coz it keeps us healthy and nourished.
A drop of tear the trees shed;
Makes mankind futile and dead.
Protect a tree, hear the unsung melody;
this recites the forthcoming tragedy.
As they stand still to face death;
give it a single, last breath.
Alone it will survive, and the world will revive.

Summer is Back

Summer is Back

The cold days passed
After a long term
Now, it's summer.
Good, sweet summer
Warm and calm
The mist has all gone
The Weather is fine
Dark clouds are no more
Fine time to be outdoors
Good old summer is back.
The city is now visible
As the mist has now disappeard
It is bright and sunny.
Sweaters are back in cupboards
For summer has arrived!!
The men and women
Are back to their work
The shops are open
And fires turned down
The majestic summer is back
